Support Manager Functionality Overview

Use Support Manager as an Administrative Tool

Use Support Manager as a Documentation and Reporting Tool

Application Configuration

To set the Database to which connect Support Manager execute following Steps:

Note:

The original Database Filename is SupportManager.mdb

A Demo Database is also included: SupportManagerDemo.mdb

General Requirements

Registration

You can test Support Manager for 30 days with a Functionality Limitation of  3 Objects per Category (Global Groups, Local Groups etc.)

After this trial period Support Manager must be registered.

Importing Users and Local Groups from Live System means only importing the relationships between these objects and the Global Groups in your Database. The root data for Users and Local Groups must be in the Database before any imports can be started.

There is no way to give Folder Permissions directly to a Global Group. The Folder Permission view for Global Groups is obtained trough the relationship between the selected Global Group and the assigned Local Groups.

When importing Users and/or Local Groups relationships from Live System the existing relationships in the Database will be deleted and rebuilt with the Live System data.
